Although the majority of New Hampshire parents, across income level, report that they seldom experience stress from parenting, parents below or near poverty are almost twice as likely as their peers to report usually or always feeling stress. Further, nearly half of all parents who have a child with at least one behavioral or developmental issue report usually or always feeling stress from parenting.
